The Pretty Package arriving at my door immediately lifted my spirits and was very sweet. I've worn the socks, the scarf and hung the little boxing gloves by my computer. I felt like somebody cared about me.

To me, Fighting Pretty means even though I'm battling cancer every day, I get up and fight. By dressing up and choosing different hats to wear, I'm putting effort into how I present myself. It's a way of claiming my beauty and strength and showing the world that I am still beautiful and strong inside and out and ready to face another day.
